ITC Hotels has announced the signing of its 25th property under the Storii brand, following a definite agreement for the 43-room 'Storii by ITC Hotels Guwahati' within the Amchong Tea Estate of Assam.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels, said, "North East India represents one of the country's most interesting tourism frontiers."

"We are committed to supporting its growth by enriching supply in the region's branded hospitality space," he said.

Ananya Khemka, Partner at Bhauram Jodhraj, the firm with which ITC executed the agreement for the property, said, "The Amchong Tea Estate has been the heart of our family's legacy for four generations. Collaborating with ITC Hotels to introduce Storii to this part of Assam felt natural."

Storii by ITC Hotels focusses on boutique properties in leisure destinations, with hotels located across hill stations, wildlife destinations, heritage towns and coastal regions.

The brand currently comprises 25 operating and pipeline properties with more than 1,200 keys.

In the recent years, Storii has expanded into destinations including Dhari Gir, Karjat, Mukundgarh Fort, Mussoorie, Rani Pokhari, Ranthambore, Sasan Gir, Shantiniketan, Udupi and Wayanad.
