Sarovar Hotels Expansion Plans: Sarovar Hotels has announced a mega expansion plan. The company said that it has plans to start over 400 new hotels that will create at least 10,000 new jobs.

Sarovar Hotels already provides jobs to over 10,000 people in its hotels.

Sarovar Hotels CEO Jatin Khanna said that Sarovar Hotels expansion plan is for the next five years. The new hotels will be opened at new locations.

"The target is to have of 400 hotels -- operational and under development -- across over 110 destinations in the next five years," Jatin Khanna said.

He added that Sarovar Hotels expansion plan will lead to double-digit revenue growth in the future.

In 2026, Jatin Khanna said that Sarovar Hotels expansion plans is to start at least 20 new hotels.

"We are looking at almost 20 openings this year, which by the time we finish this year will take us to roughly around 170," Sarovar Hotels CEO said, adding that the company follows an asset light model.

Sarovar Hotels expansion plans include a dedicated focus on tier 1 and tier 3 cities. Besides, the company will also look into cities with pilgrimage and that are rapidly emerging leisure markets.

At present, Sarovar Hotels has a total of 250 hotels and it manages 22,000 keys.

Sarovar Hotels is forecasting Rs 2,300 crore this year (over Rs 1,991 crore last year).
