Yes Bank New CEO: Yes Bank has announced that Vinay M Tonse has assumed charge as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer. Under Tonse’s leadership, Yes Bank will focus on the four basic strategic pillars to drive sustainable growth – people, products, processes and technology, the lender said in a media release.
People will remain at the core of Yes Bank’s strategy, the bank said, adding that the lender will continue to evolve its product offerings to meet customer needs.

Recently, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) made a huge investment in Yes Bank. Japan's Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, which acquired stake from SBI and others, is the single largest shareholder in Yes Bank.
“Yes Bank is well-positioned to leverage global expertise, enhance cross-border banking services, and expand its corporate banking capabilities. This long-term partnership will enable the bank to generate positive synergies and unlock new business opportunities,” the private lender said.
