Coal India Dividend 2026 Announcement: Coal India, a Maharatna PSU, is all set to announce a cash reward for its investors in the Q4FY26 results. In an exchange filing, Coal India said its board will consider a proposal for declaring a dividend for shareholders. If announced, this will be the final dividend by Coal India for its investors for FY2026.
As per the filing, the board of Coal India will meet on April 27, 2026, to approve the financial results for the March quarter. The board in the same meeting, will also take up a proposal for announcing a final dividend.

"A meeting of Board of Directors of the company will be held on Monday, 27th April 2026 inter-alia, to consider, approve and take on record the Audited Financial Results of the Company (Standalone & Consolidated) for the 4th quarter and Financial ended 31st March, 2026," Coal India said.
"Board of Directors of the company may also, inter alia, consider and recommend Final Dividend for FY 2025-26, if any," Coal India added in the filing.

If a final dividend is announced, Coal India said that the same will be subject to payment if approved at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
"The payment of Final Dividend, if any, shall be subject to approval of shareholders in the ensuing AGM," Coal India said.

Coal India didn't announce the dividend record in its latest filing. Coal India may announce the dividend record date along with the dividend amount on April 27.

Earlier in 2025, Coal India had paid dividends on four occasions - Rs 5.60 in January, Rs 5.50 and Rs 5.15 in August, and Rs 10.25 in November.
Back in 2024, 2023, and 2022, Coal India had paid dividends on multiple occasions, aggregating to Rs 26, Rs 24.50, and Rs 23, respectively.
