Coal India Dividend 2026 Announcement: Maharata PSU Coal India has announced a whopping dividend of 52.5 per cent or Rs 5.25 per share for its investors. Coal India's dividend is payable on each stock of Rs 10 face value.
In an exchange filing, Coal India said that its board has recommended a final dividend along with the Q4FY26 results.
Coal India Dividend: Statement
"Declared Final Dividend for the Financial Year 2025-26 at Rs 5.25 per equity share on the face value of Rs 10," Coal India said in a filing.
Coal India Dividend Record Date
Coal India didn't announce the dividend record date along with the amount in the Q4 results. Coal India will announce the dividend record date in due course and inform its shareholders via exchanges.
Coal India Dividend Payment
Coal India, however, said that the dividend of Rs 5.25 will be payable to shareholders, subject to the approval by shareholders at the upcoming AGM.
"Payment of Final Dividend for FY 2025-26 shall be made subject to approval of Shareholders in the ensuing AGM," Coal India said.
Coal India Dividend History
Coal India is one of high dividend-paying PSU stocks. Coal India has a dividend yield of nearly 6 per cent.
According to BSE data, Coal India had paid a dividend of Rs 5.50 per share in February 2026. In CY2025, Coal India had paid dividends on five occasions -- Rs 5.60 in January; Rs 5.50 and Rs 5.15 in August; and Rs 10.25 in November. Back in 2024 and 2023, Coal India had rewarded its shareholders by paying them a whopping dividend of Rs 26 and Rs 24.50, respectively.
