Demerger News: Prima Plastics has announced a demerger plan. Prima Plastics has already demerger ratio and record date. Under the demerger plan, Prima Plastics has announced to split its existing business into two different companies.

The demerger scheme involves Prima Plastics Limited and Prima Innovation Limited and their respective shareholders and creditors. Prima Innovation Limited will be the resulting company.

Demerger News: Prima Plastics Demerger Ratio

Prima Plastics demerger ratio has been fixed at 1:1. It means that one share of the resulting company will be issued for exiting share of Prima Plastics.

"1 (One) fully paid-up equity share of the Resulting Company having a face value of Rs 5 (Rupees Five) each for every 1 (One) fully paid-up equity share of Rs 10 (Rupees Five) each held in the Company," Prima Plastics said.

Demerger News: Prima Plastics Demerger Record Date

Prima Plastics has fixed April 17 as the demerger record date for Prima Innovation Limited. The demerger scheme came into effect on March 31, 2026.

"We would like to inform you that in terms of the Scheme, the Company has fixed April 17, 2026, as the Record Date," Prima Plastics said in the filing.

After the demerger record date and other demerger exercises, Prima Innovation shares will list separately on the exchanges.

Prima Innovation will seek approval from exchanges to list its shares and then announce the listing date. Post listing, trading in Prima Innovation shares will start as usual.
