Stock Split Announced: String Metaverse Ltd has announced its first-ever stock split. According to data available on the BSE website, String Metaverse Ltd has fixed the stock split ratio at 10:1. This means each equity share of String Metaverse Ltd will split into 10 new shares.

The existing face value of String Metaverse Ltd shares will be split from Rs 10 to Re 1.

In an exchange filing, String Metaverse had said: "Approved the sub-division/split of 1 (one) equity share of face value Rs 10 each, fully paid-up, into 10 equity shares of face value Re 1 each, fully paid-up, subject to the approval of the shareholders."

Stock Split Announced: Record Date

String Metaverse has fixed April 24, 2026, as the record date for the stock split.

"We wish to inform you that the Company has fixed Friday, 24th April, 2026 as the Record Date for the purpose of determining the eligibility of members of the company for the corporate action," String Metaverse said.

String Metaverse share price closed 5 per cent lower at Rs 108.60 on BSE during Tuesday's trading session.

Stock Split Announced: Impact On Share Price

On the record date, the String Metaverse share price will adjust in the ratio of the stock split. String Metaverse share price will become 10 times cheaper in line with the stock split ratio of 10:1.

String Metaverse provides software development services related to the gaming industry.

String Metaverse shares have declined more than 50 per cent in the past six months, while zooming 30 per cent in one year.

String Metaverse shares have a 52-week range of Rs 324.45 - Rs 82.56. String Metaverse commands a market cap of Rs 1,264.45 crore as on April 7, according to BSE data.
