IREDA Dividend 2026: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) could soon announce an interim dividend for its shareholders. IREDA has informed exchanges that its board will meet next week to consider and approve a proposal for declaring an interim dividend for the current financial year (FY2025-26).
If IREDA announces an interim dividend, this will be the first-ever such corporate action by the PSU since listing.
In an exchange filing, IREDA said that its board will meet on March 25, 2025 (Wednesday).
"A Meeting of the Board of Directors of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, inter-alia, to consider the proposal for declaration of Interim Dividend for the FY 2025-26," IREDA said in a filing.
IREDA shares on Friday (March 20) closed flat with a negative bias at Rs 116.45 on BSE.
IREDA is a PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). IREDA is a Navratna PSU.
IREDA is a non-banking financial institution engaged in promoting, developing and extending financial assistance for setting up projects related to new and renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency/conservation.
IREDA had launched its IPO in November 2023 and issued shares at Rs 32 in the primary market. Post listing, IREDA shares went on to make an all-time high of Rs 310.
In the third quarter (Q3FY26), IREDA posted a 77 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 355.53 crore. The PSU had earned a net profit of Rs 200.75 crore during the October-December period of the preceding 2022-23 fiscal.
