Vedanta Dividend 2026 Record Date: Mining giant Vedanta Ltd is all set to announce an interim dividend for its investors. The company has informed exchanges about the schedule of the next board meeting.

If announced, this will be the third interim dividend by Vedanta for the current financial year (FY2026).

In an exchange filing, Vedanta said that its board will meet on  March 23, 2026 to consider and approve a proposal for the distribution of an interim dividend among the shareholders.

"The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is proposed to be scheduled on Monday, March 23, 2026, to consider and approve the Third Interim Dividend on equity shares, if any, for the Financial Year 2025-26," Vedanta said in a filing.

Vedanta Dividend 2026 Record Date

Vedanta has also announced the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders' participation in the dividend payment. As per the filing, Vedanta has set March 28 as the dividend record date.

"The record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the equity shareholders for the said dividend, if declared, is being fixed as Saturday, March 28, 2026," Vedanta said.

Vedanta share price on Thursday closed 2 per cent lower at Rs 665.15 on the BSE.

Vedanta is one of high dividend-paying companies. Vedanta has a dividend yield of more than 7 per cent.

Vedanta Dividend History

According to the BSE website, Vedanta in CY2025 paid dividends on two occasions to its investors -- Rs 7 in June and Rs 16 in August. In 2024, Vedanta had paid dividends on four occasions, aggregating to Rs 43.50 per share.

Back in 2023 and 2022, Vedanta had rewarded its shareholders by paying them a dividend of Rs 62.50 and Rs 81.50, respectively.
