Vedanta Dividend 2026 Record Date: Mining giant Vedanta Ltd has announced to reward its shareholders by paying them an interim dividend. This is the interim dividend announced by Vedanta for the current financial year (FY2026).
In an exchange filing, Vedanta said that its board has recommended an interim dividend of Rs 11 per share of Re 1 face value. Accordingly, this translates into a payout of 1,100 per cent.
In total, Vedanta said that it will pay a whopping dividend of Rs 4,300 crore.
"We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of Vedanta Limited, at its meeting held today i.e. Monday, March 23, 2026, has considered and approved the Third Interim Dividend of Rs 11 per equity share on face value of Re 1 per equity share for the Financial Year 2025-26 amounting to Rs 4,300 crore," Vedanta said in an exchange filing.

Vedanta had earlier announced that March 28 would be considered the dividend record date for the payment of the dividend.
"As intimated earlier, the record date for payment of dividend shall be Saturday, March 28, 2026," Vedanta said.
Vedanta Dividend Payment Date
On when the interim dividend of Rs 11 will be paid to the eligible shareholders, Vedanta said: "The interim dividend shall be duly paid within the stipulated timelines as prescribed under law."

Vedanta is one of the top dividend-paying companies. Vedanta has a high dividend yield of nearly 8 per cent. It means that Vedanta is paying 8 per cent of its shares' value as a dividend to its shareholders.
Vedanta shares on Monday (Monday, March 23) closed on the red at Rs 644.60 on NSE.
