Wipro Share Buyback News: Wipro may soon announce a share buyback programme for its investors. In an exchange filing, Wipro said that a board meeting is scheduled to take place on April 16, 2026, to consider a proposal for share buyback.
If Wipro announces a share buyback on April 16, this will be the first-ever share repurchase announcement by the company after 2023.
"The Board of Directors of the Company will be considering a proposal to buyback equity shares of the Company and the matters necessary," Wipro said in an exchange filing on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
The decision of the board on share buyback will be announced “soon after the conclusion of the meeting on April 16, 2026.”
