Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India) Pvt. Ltd (AMC) announces the appointment of Ms. Pranavi Kulkarni as Fund Manager & Dealer - Fixed Income. She will be based at the AMC’s Mumbai head office and will report to Mr. Basant Bafna, Head - Fixed Income.
Mirae Asset Mutual Fund’s Fixed Income vertical focuses on a disciplined investment approach, with emphasis on credit assessment, risk management, and active portfolio management. The fixed income vertical invests across a diversified mix of sovereign, corporate, and money market instruments, supported by in-house research capabilities and macroeconomic analysis. The AMC continues to strengthen its fixed-income offerings in line with evolving market conditions and investor needs.
In her role as Fund Manager & Dealer - Fixed Income, Ms. Kulkarni will be responsible for identifying investment opportunities across interest cycles. As part of the investment team, she will contribute to further strengthening portfolio construction and enhancing investment processes.

Ms. Kulkarni brings over 16 years of experience across fixed income investing, credit research, and corporate banking. Prior to joining Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India) Pvt. Ltd, she was associated with Edelweiss Asset Management Limited, where she most recently served as Vice President & Fund Manager and managed fixed income portfolios, with responsibilities spanning credit evaluation and portfolio construction. Earlier, she worked with CRISIL Limited, where she led credit analysis across infrastructure, construction, roads, and real estate sectors, including bond placement evaluations and structured debt assessments. She has also been associated with Yes Bank, managing corporate banking portfolios and structured financial solutions. She began her career with Capgemini as an Associate Consultant and has completed a summer internship with JPMorgan Chase.
Ms. Kulkarni holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Symbiosis International University, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from Mumbai University.
