HDFC Life Dividend 2026: Motilal Oswal has reiterated a Buy rating on HDFC Life Insurance after the company announced Q4FY26 results. In its report, the brokerage has assigned a target price of Rs 760 on HDFC Life shares, implying an upside of 20 per cent from the CMP of Rs 632.

The board of HDFC  Life has recommended a final dividend payment of 21 per cent or Rs 2 per share, carrying a face value of Rs 10.

"Recommended final dividend of Rs 2.10 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each for the financial year 2025-26, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting," HDFC Life said in a filing.

HDFC Life Dividend 2026 Record Date

HDFC Life said that June 19, 2026, will be the record date for the payment of the final dividend to the eligible shareholders. 

"Record date for the purpose of ascertaining the entitlement of the shareholders for the final dividend shall be Friday, June 19, 2026," HDFC Life said.

The dividend amount will be paid on or after July 20. "The payment of final dividend will be made on or after July 20, 2026, subject to deduction of tax at source at the applicable rate," HDFC Life added in the filing.

HDFC Life Q4 Results

Motilal Oswal said that FY26 performance was below management’s expectations. While 1HFY26 was ahead of the industry and 3Q met expectations, 4Q saw a slowdown due to the unabsorbed GST impact and demand deferment in March 2026.

HDFC Life's VNB margin came in below estimates at 24 per cent, the brokerage said.

HDFC Life's management remains confident of a rebound, supported by strong customer acquisition, with 70 per cent of customers onboarded during the year being first-time buyers of HDFC Life.

The brokerage said that HDFC Life's annuity segment saw meaningful progress. A new product launched in 4QFY26 -- an industry-first variable annuity linked to the Nifty 50 index-supported growth and contribution.
