Union Bank Dividend 2026 News: Union Bank of India has a dividend of 50 per cent for its investors. As per the calculation, Union Bank of India has recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per share of Rs 10 face value.
This is the highest ever dividend amount announced by Union Bank of India since 2015.
"The Board has recommended a Dividend of Rs 5 per Equity Share of Rs 10 each for the financial year 2025-26," Union Bank of India said in a filing.
Union Bank Dividend 2026 Record Date
Union Bank of India has shared an update on the dividend record date. Union Bank of India said that the record date will be announced and informed via exchanges in due course.
"The date of AGM, the Book Closure for the purpose of AGM and the Dividend for the Financial Year 2025-26 will be intimated in due course," Union Bank of India said.
On when Rs 5 dividend will be paid, Union Bank of India said that the amount will be credited after obtaining the necessary approvals, including shareholders' nod at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
"The payment of Dividend is subject to obtaining the necessary statutory approvals and the approval of the shareholders of the Bank at the ensuing 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM)," Union Bank of India said.
Union Bank of India Dividend History
Union Bank of India has a dividend yield of 2.65 per cent. As per the BSE website, Union Bank of India had paid a dividend of Rs 3.60 per share in 2024.
In 2023 and 2022, Union Bank of India had paid Rs 3 and Rs 1.90, respectively, as dividends to its shareholders. Before this, Union Bank of India had paid a dividend of Rs 1.95 in 2015. Back in 2015, Union Bank of India had rewarded its shareholders by paying them a dividend of Rs 6 on each share.
Union Bank of India Q4 Results FY2026
Union Bank of India has reported a nearly 7 per cent rise in standalone profit for Q4F26 at Rs 5,316 crore. The bank had earned a profit of Rs 4,985 crore in Q4 of FY2025.
Union Bank of India's net interest income (NII) in Q4FY26 declined by 1.14 per cent YoY to Rs 9,406 crore. The bank's total income fell to Rs 31,851.15 crore.
